Categories group your products. Each category has its own page on the site listing its products, and it is what you choose in a section of type Products.

Creating a category

1. Click New.
2. Write the title and, optionally, a subtitle and a description, in each language.
3. Fill in the link: the last part of the category address (for example t-shirts).
4. Upload an icon and an image if your theme shows them.
5. Leave Published set to “Yes” and save.

Other fields

• Parent: makes the category a subcategory of another.
• Pages: links the category to pages of your site.
• Priority: its order in lists.

The number of columns, sidebar and banner of category pages are set in Preferences.
