Account terms
Version 2026-10-17.4. In force from 17 October 2026. These terms govern the edeck.me shopper account: the account you use to sign in and buy in the online shops made with edeck.me. You accept them when you create the account, and they apply in all those shops. Each section has a code (A1, A2…) so that it can be quoted.
The essentials
This summary does not replace the terms, but it tells you the most important points:
- The account belongs to edeck.me, it is free and it works in every shop made with edeck.me, with the same email and password (A2).
- edeck.me does not sell you anything. Each purchase is with the shop where you make it: the price, shipping, invoice, returns, guarantee and withdrawal are matters for that shop (A3).
- You see the orders you place with your account in every shop (with your email verified). Each shop only sees its own: its orders, your balance with it and your account details once you are its customer; never which other shops you buy from (A7, A8).
- edeck.me is responsible for your account; each shop for each order and for your balance with it. You accept or refuse notices and offers shop by shop (A8, A9).
- You change your details yourself from your account; the email, by writing to us. Shops cannot change them (A10).
- Balance belongs to each shop and can only be spent there; it does not move from one shop to another (A11).
- If a shop closes, you do not lose your purchases: edeck.me keeps its orders and you still see them with the details of whoever sold to you, so you can claim against them or ask for help. We also keep the record of your balance; paying it back is still up to the shop's former owner. If you cannot reach them, write to us (A7, A9).
- You can delete your account whenever you want, from your profile or by writing to us. Your orders stay with each shop, without the account. If you have a balance in your favour in any shop, we warn you first so that you do not lose it (A14).
A1. Who provides the account and what governs it
The shopper account is a service of edeck.me, the platform the shops are made with. edeck.me is a service of ETPRO Group, the trade name under which it is provided by its owner, a natural person working as a self-employed professional:
- Owner: Carlos Gomez
- Tax ID (NIF): 60210417M
- Address: 08024 Barcelona (Barcelona)
- Telephone: 693025096
- Email: soporte@edeck.me
These same details are in the legal notice. In these terms, "edeck.me" or "we" means that owner; "you", the person who holds the account; and "the shop", each online shop made with edeck.me, which is a business separate from edeck.me, with its own owner.
The account is governed by these terms and by the edeck.me privacy policy (especially its section 10), which explains in detail what data we process and your rights. What you buy in each shop is governed by that shop's terms of sale and privacy policy, which you will find on its website.
Consumer or business customer. You are a consumer if you use the account for purposes outside your trade, business or profession, which is the usual case. If you use it to buy for your business, you are a business customer, and some rules change, as each section indicates (mainly A15 and A19). Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives consumers.
A2. What the account is
- It is a single account for every shop made with edeck.me: you sign in with the same email and password in any of them, without registering again.
- It lets you sign in to the shops, save your details and addresses so you do not type them for every purchase, see your orders (A7), keep your cart and your favourites in each shop and, if the shop offers it, use a balance with it (A11).
- It is free. edeck.me charges you nothing to have it or use it, and does not use your data for advertising or sell it. What you pay in a shop, you pay to that shop.
- It is not compulsory to buy: you can buy as a guest, without an account.
A3. edeck.me is not a party to your purchases
- When you buy in a shop made with edeck.me, the seller is that shop. edeck.me gives it the tool to run its online shop and gives you the account, but it does not sell, buy or act on behalf of the shop or on yours, and it is not a party to the sales contract or to the services you take out.
- Everything about the purchase is with the shop: product information, price and taxes, shipping costs and times, delivery, payment, the invoice, the right of withdrawal, returns, the guarantee and complaints. The shop's details and terms are on its website; if you need them and cannot find them, write to us and we will give you the details we have to contact it. If the shop has closed, see A7.
- Payment is collected by the shop, with its own payment gateway or the methods it offers. edeck.me does not receive your money or see your card details.
- The proof of purchase, which you open from your orders in that shop and can print or save as PDF, is prepared by edeck.me with the data the shop keeps, but it is not an invoice, and it says so. If you need an invoice, ask the shop.
A4. Who can have an account
- To create an account you must be at least 18 years old and have the capacity to enter into contracts. The account is a contract with you and is used, above all, to buy, and a minor cannot contract alone beyond the everyday purchases appropriate to their age. That is why we ask for the age of majority and not the 14 years at which Spanish law allows a minor to consent to the processing of their data.
- If you are a minor, do not create an account. If the shop allows it, your parent or guardian can buy for you, with their own account or as a guest. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we may close it as explained in A13.
- The account is personal: for one person only, with their own email. It cannot be transferred, sold or shared.
A5. How the account is created
You can create the account in any shop made with edeck.me in one of these ways:
- With the shop's sign-up form: you enter your name, email and a password and accept these terms. We send you an email to confirm the address, and you cannot sign in until you confirm it.
- When buying, by ticking the box "Create account with this information". The account is created with the details you give for the order (name, surname, identity document if you give it, address, phone and email) and you are signed in to finish the purchase. This account starts without a password you know and with the email unverified: to sign in again, set a password with "Forgot your password?"; the link arrives in your email and, when you use it, the email becomes verified. If that email already had an account, no other account is created and nothing is changed: the purchase continues as a guest, and for the order to appear in your account you have to sign in with it before buying.
- With Google or Facebook, if the shop offers it: the first time you sign in this way, if you first tick the box for these terms next to the buttons, the account is created with the name and email Google or Facebook gives us, with Google, only if it treats it as verified; without the box it is not created. If you already had an account with that email, you sign in to it. The account has no password you know; if you want one, request it with "Forgot your password?".
In addition, a shop can add you as its customer from its panel (for example, if you bought from it by phone) with the details you gave it, provided your email does not already have an account. That record has no password and is not verified, and you cannot use it until you set a password yourself with "Forgot your password?", ticking the box for these terms. The shop is responsible for being allowed to do so and for having the details to do it.
By creating the account in any of these ways, or by starting to use one a shop created, you accept these terms. We keep a record of the version you accepted, the date, the shop where you did it, the IP address and the browser, and we send you an email with the version accepted and the link to read it. The current version is always on edeck.me, and you can ask us by email for the one you accepted.
Your details must be true and yours. Use an email that is yours and that you can access: it is your identity in every shop and where the confirmation and password recovery reach you. Do not create accounts with someone else's email or details, or with made-up details. If your details change, update them (A10): shops use your account details to serve you.
A6. Your password and account security
- Choose a password of at least 8 characters that you do not use elsewhere, and do not share it. We store the password irreversibly: nobody, not edeck.me nor the shops, can read it.
- Because the same account works in every shop, anyone who knows your password can sign in as you in any of them. You are responsible for the use made of your account when it is due to you not keeping your password with due care or sharing it. You are not responsible if it is due to a security failure by edeck.me, or for what happens after you tell us about a use you did not authorise.
- If you think someone has got into your account, change your password straight away from your profile or with "Forgot your password?" and write to us at soporte@edeck.me. Changing the password closes any sessions that were open with the old one in other browsers.
- If you sign in with Google or Facebook, the security of that sign-in also depends on your account with them.
- Sign out if you use a shared computer: the session stays open in that browser until you sign out.
- Nobody at edeck.me will ask you for your password, and no shop needs it. Be wary of anyone who asks you for it.
A7. What you see and what each shop sees
What you see. In your profile, inside any shop, you see your details, your addresses, your cart and favourites in that shop, your balance with it and your orders in it. In addition, in "My orders", in a separate block, you see the orders you placed in the other shops made with edeck.me, in full (the 50 most recent; not balance top-ups): the shop, date, amount, status, shipment tracking, addresses and products.
- That block only appears when you are signed in and your email is verified: an account created when buying, without proving that the email is its owner's, should not open the history of other purchases (A5 explains how to verify it).
- It is read-only. To cancel, pay or ask about an order, go to the shop where you placed it (there is a link) and sign in with the same account.
- If a shop closes, its orders are still shown, marked as from a closed shop: edeck.me keeps the orders, payments and balance of shops that close precisely so that you do not lose the information about your purchases and can make a claim or ask for help if a problem arises.
- Next to those orders you see the seller details the shop published on its legal pages (its name or company name, tax ID, address, email, phone and registration details, whichever it had), so you know whom to claim against for the guarantee, a return, withdrawal or an invoice, or whom to ask for help. When the shop is deleted for good we keep a copy of those details, with no deletion deadline. If the shop did not have them, you cannot reach the seller or you need any data we keep about that order, write to us at soporte@edeck.me.
- You only see orders placed while signed in to your account, not those you placed as a guest.
What each shop sees: only its own. Each shop sees the orders placed in it, your balance with it and your customer record (A8). No shop sees your orders in other shops, which other shops you buy from, or your balance in them, and edeck.me does not tell it.
What edeck.me sees. edeck.me staff only access your account and your orders when necessary to help you, to solve a technical problem, for security or because the law requires it.
A8. Being a shop's customer
- When you create your account in a shop, or sign in with it to a shop that is new to you, you ask us to register you as a customer of that shop. From then on, that shop sees your account details in its customer list: name and surname, email, phone, identity document and address if you gave them, the photo if there is one, since when you have been its customer and your balance with it. It does not see since when you have had the account or whether you had it before joining its shop. It can download them to manage its relationship with you, and it is responsible for them (A9).
- If you change those details in your account, the change is seen by every shop you are a customer of.
- A shop can remove you from its customer list: your link with it and your cart and favourites in it are deleted. Your account, your orders and what you have in other shops are not touched. If you sign in to that shop again with your account, you become its customer again.
- Notices and offers, shop by shop. When you sign up, or create the account while buying, you can tick the box "I want to receive notices and offers from this shop". It is unticked by default and applies only to that shop: it does not sign you up in others. Each shop decides whether to send notices (for example, the reminder about a cart you left without buying, which is only sent to people who ticked the box or have bought there before) and each email has a link to unsubscribe from that shop.
- Newsletters. Subscribing to a shop's newsletter is separate from the account: it is done with your email in that shop, with double confirmation, and you unsubscribe with the link in each email. Deleting the account does not unsubscribe you from newsletters.
A9. Who is responsible for your data
Two data controllers are involved in your account, each for its own part and independently of the other:
- edeck.me is the controller of the account: the email, password, name and surname, phone, the document and address you give, saved addresses, your cart and favourites, the list of your orders from every shop that we show only to you (A7), the record of your acceptance of these terms and the disclosure of your account details to each shop when you become its customer (A8). We do this to provide the account you ask for when you accept these terms; the edeck.me privacy policy explains it in detail.
- Each shop is the controller of its relationship with you: your orders in it (what you buy, shipping, payment, the invoice and returns), your balance with it, your customer record once you are its customer, what you send it through its forms, your permission for its notices and offers and its newsletter. Its own privacy policy explains this. edeck.me stores that data on the shop's behalf, as a processor, under section 11 of the publishing rules, and does not use it for anything else.
- If a shop closes and is permanently deleted, edeck.me keeps your orders in it, with their payments, the products and coupons that appear in them and your balance movements; its seller details, with no deletion deadline (A7); and what you sent it through its forms, shown to no one and until one year after you sent it, to give you a copy or confirm that you sent it if you ask us, or to contact you if a problem comes up with a purchase. From its deletion, edeck.me is the data controller of what it keeps, and we tell you by email at that moment. We keep it on the basis of our legitimate interest, which is also yours, in you not losing your purchase history (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation), for the periods stated in sections 10 and 11 of the edeck.me privacy policy. You can still see the orders in "My orders" in any other shop made with edeck.me (A7); we will send you the rest on request. You can object by writing to us at soporte@edeck.me, and we will delete it, unless we need it for an ongoing claim. Keeping it does not make us the seller: the shop's former owner remains responsible for the purchase and the balance (A3, A11), and may also keep their own records, such as invoices.
edeck.me and the shops are not joint controllers: no shop decides about your account, and edeck.me does not decide what each shop does with its customers. Each is responsible for its own part.
Why edeck.me processes your account data (legal basis). The account data, the list of your orders that we show you and the disclosure of your details to each shop you become a customer of are necessary to provide the account you ask us for when you accept these terms: it is the contract you have with us (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation). We keep the record of your acceptance, with the IP address and the browser, on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to prove what you accepted and when (Article 6(1)(f)). Without your email (and a password, if you create it with the form) we cannot create the account; your name and the rest are optional.
Where to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability): about the account, write to us at soporte@edeck.me; about an order, your balance or a shop's notices, to that shop. If the shop has been deleted, write to us about its orders, your balance in it or what you sent it through its forms (A9). If you write to us about something that belongs to a shop, we will pass it on and tell you we have done so. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
A10. Who can change your details
- You, from your profile in any shop: your name, surname, phone, addresses and password.
- The email is your identity in every shop and cannot be changed from the profile: if you need to change it, write to us from that email at soporte@edeck.me and we will do it after checking that the account is yours. If you can no longer use that email, write to us from another one and we will tell you how to prove it. The same applies to any other detail you cannot correct yourself.
- Shops cannot change your account details, because they are the same in every shop where you buy. They can see them (A8), but not modify them. If a shop sees a wrong detail, it will ask you or tell us.
- edeck.me only changes them when you ask, to correct an error, for security or because the law requires it.
- The details of an order already placed (for example, the delivery or billing address) belong to the order and the shop: changing your account does not change them. If they are wrong, tell the shop.
A11. Your balance in each shop
- Some shops let you have a balance in your favour with them: from a refund the shop gives you as balance, from an adjustment made by the shop or, if it allows it, because you top it up by paying the shop.
- Balance belongs to each shop: you see it in your profile inside that shop and it can only be spent there. It cannot be moved from one shop to another, or to another account, or exchanged for money at edeck.me.
- The terms of the balance (how it is earned, whether it expires, whether and how it is refunded in money) are set by the shop, which is responsible for it. The money for a top-up is collected by the shop with its gateway: edeck.me does not receive or hold it, and keeps track of the movements on the shop's behalf.
- If a shop closes or stops working while holding your balance, paying it back is still up to the shop (or its former owner): claim it from them; its seller details are shown next to your orders from that shop (A7). If the shop has been deleted, edeck.me keeps the record of your balance (A9) and will send it to you on request, as evidence. If they are not there or you cannot reach the shop, write to us and we will give you the details we have.
A12. Proper use of the account
Use the account for what it is for: buying and managing your purchases in the shops made with edeck.me. It is not allowed to:
- give false details, impersonate another person or create accounts with other people's emails;
- create accounts in bulk or automatically, or use the account to deceive a shop (for example, orders you do not intend to pay, fraudulent returns or using other people's means of payment);
- try to get into other people's accounts, see data that is not yours or other people's orders, or get around security limits;
- attack, overload or test the security of the shops or of edeck.me without permission, or use robots to extract data;
- use the account to harass, threaten or send unsolicited messages to shops or other people, or for any unlawful purpose;
- transfer, sell or share the account.
A13. Suspension or closure of the account by edeck.me
- Reasons. We may suspend or close an account, or restrict some of its functions, only for a valid reason: a breach of A4, A5 or A12 (for example, fraud, impersonation or an attack); a risk to the security of other people, the shops or the platform; or because an authority or a court orders it. A shop cannot close your account; it can only remove you from its customers (A8).
- Notice. We will tell you by email beforehand, with the specific reason and the time to put it right if it can be put right. If we have to act straight away (fraud in progress, a stolen account, a security risk), we will do so and tell you the reason as soon as possible, unless the law prevents it.
- Proportionality. The measure will be proportionate to the reason: if restricting something or asking you to correct a detail is enough, we will not close the account.
- Appeal. You can ask us to review the decision by replying to the email in which we told you about it or by writing to soporte@edeck.me, within the following six months. We will review it with what you tell us and reply in writing, giving reasons, within one month at most. If there was no reason, we lift the measure.
- What is yours is not lost. A suspension or closure does not cancel your orders or your balance: they remain with each shop, which must deal with them, and you can ask it to refund your balance. If we close the account, we will tell you in which shops you had a balance. You can still claim from the shop about any purchase.
- If we stop providing the account to everyone, we will give you at least 30 days' notice.
A14. Leaving: deleting your account
- Your account does not expire: it is kept for as long as you do not delete it, even if you do not use it.
- You can delete your account whenever you want, free of charge and without giving reasons, from your profile in any shop ("Delete my account"), with your current password. If you do not know it (because the account was created when buying or you sign in with Google or Facebook), set one first with "Forgot your password?". You can also ask us by email.
- What is deleted: your account details, your saved addresses not used by any order, your cart and favourites in every shop, your links with the shops and your permissions for notices and offers. It is final: it cannot be undone.
- What stays, and why: what belongs to your relationship with each shop. Your orders, their payments, your balance movements and what you sent through its forms (the latter, for one year) stay with each shop. They are kept so that the shop can help you, honour a guarantee or contact you again if a problem arises with a purchase, and because it must keep them by law (for example, for invoicing). They are unlinked from the account: with the order details as they were (the billing and shipping addresses you gave or, if there were none, your name, email and phone). You will no longer see them in "My orders", nor the seller details of closed shops shown with them (A7). For anything about those orders, write to the shop; if it has closed, write to us and we will give you the seller details we keep. What belongs to a shop that has already been deleted is still kept by edeck.me (A9), also after you delete your account.
- If you have a balance in your favour in any shop, the button does not let you delete it, so that you do not lose it without realising: the notice tells you in which shops you have it. Spend it or ask that shop to refund it; if it is in a shop that has already closed, write to us. If you still want to delete the account, write to us and we will delete it: the balance remains a right you have against the shop, but you will no longer see it in your profile and you will have to claim it directly from the shop.
- The account of someone who also owns a website on edeck.me is also the account for their panel: it is not deleted from a shop but from the panel, in Account and security ("Delete my account"), once they no longer have any website (terms of service, C12). If there is something we must keep (for example, the charges for their plans or their orders as a buyer), the account is closed instead of deleted: it can no longer be used to sign in and its data stays together with what is kept; if they come back with the same email and reset the password, they get back the same account.
- Shop newsletters are not touched (A8): unsubscribe with the link in each email.
- We keep the record of your acceptance of these terms (A5) for 5 years after the account is deleted, which is how long a contractual claim lasts. Deleted data may remain in the encrypted backups until they expire (currently, at most about 12 months), and they are only used to restore the service if something fails.
A15. Liability
- edeck.me is liable for the damage it causes you by breaching these terms or data protection law as regards its part (the account and, if a shop is deleted, what we keep from it, A9), in accordance with the law.
- edeck.me is not liable for purchases or for what each shop does: the sale, delivery, product, invoice, returns, balance or the shop's use of its customers' data are that shop's responsibility (A3, A9, A11), unless the damage is due to edeck.me, while storing that data on the shop's behalf, having breached its own obligations (Article 82 of the General Data Protection Regulation). Nor is it liable for third-party services you choose to use (for example, signing in with Google or Facebook), or for damage caused by a use of your account for which you are responsible under A6.
- We work to keep the account running well at all times, but there may be maintenance stops or failures beyond our control. We will not be liable for what is due to causes we cannot reasonably control.
- If you are a business customer, edeck.me's liability for the account, which is free, does not include loss of profit, loss of business or indirect damage.
- These limitations never apply to damage caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence, to personal injury, or to damage the law does not allow to be limited.
- If you are a consumer, nothing in this section limits the rights the law gives you; in particular, Articles 82 to 91 of the Spanish General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, which prohibit unfair terms.
A16. Changes to the account and to these terms
- The account evolves: we add features and change others to improve it, for security or to adapt it to the law. If a change harms you significantly (for example, if we remove an important feature), we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and you will be able to delete your account free of charge (A14).
- We only change these terms for valid reasons (changes to the service, to the law or to the decisions of the authorities, or to improve security). If a change of substance affects you, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, by email and in your account, saying what changes and from when. If you do not agree, you can delete your account free of charge before that date (A14); if you keep using it afterwards, the new version applies.
- Changes that only correct typos or that do not harm you may apply straight away; those imposed by law, from when the law requires. Each version carries its date.
A17. How we communicate
We write to your account email, only about matters related to it (confirming the email, recovering the password, security, changes to these terms or a measure under A13): edeck.me does not send you advertising. Emails about your orders and a shop's notices and offers are sent to you by that shop. You can write to us at soporte@edeck.me; our postal address is in A1.
A18. Complaints, claims and disputes
- About the account, write to us at soporte@edeck.me or to the address in A1. We will reply as soon as possible and, in any case, within one month at most. About a purchase, complain to the shop where you made it.
- If you are a consumer, you can ask us for the official complaint form and go to the consumer services of your region or town council (in Catalonia, the Agència Catalana del Consum).
- edeck.me does not adhere to the Consumer Arbitration System or to any other alternative dispute resolution entity. If we do not resolve your complaint, we will tell you the competent entity and whether we agree to take part.
- The European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform no longer exists: the European Union discontinued it on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228), so we do not link to it. Consumer services will inform you about the alternative dispute resolution entities in your country.
- About your personal data, you can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (A9).
A19. Applicable law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer living in another European Union country, you also keep the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of your country.
- If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence, and edeck.me can only sue you before the courts of your place of residence.
- If you are a business customer, both parties submit to the courts of Barcelona (Spain).
A20. Other clauses
- If a section of these terms is void, it is deemed not to have been written and the rest remains in force.
- If we do not enforce something at a given time, that does not mean we waive the right to do so later.
- If the account comes to be provided by another person or entity (for example, a company set up by the owner of edeck.me), we will tell you in advance and, if you do not agree, you will be able to delete your account free of charge; provided that this does not reduce your rights or guarantees.
- These terms are available in Spanish and in English. If the two versions differ, the Spanish one prevails; if you are a consumer, the one that is more favourable to you applies.
A21. How the account contract is concluded
- Electronically. The account contract is concluded online and is as valid as if you signed it on paper.
- Steps. They are those in A5: you fill in the sign-up form or the purchase form (or choose to sign in with Google or Facebook), you read these terms through the link next to the box or the button, you accept them by ticking the box (the acceptance box or "Create account with this information") or with that button, and you submit. The contract is concluded at the moment the account is created.
- Correcting errors. Before submitting you can review and correct any detail in the form; if a required detail is missing, the form tells you. Afterwards, you correct your details as explained in A10.
- Where the document is kept. We keep a record of your acceptance (A5) and a copy of each version of these terms. The current version is always on edeck.me, on a page you can save or print, and you can ask us by email for the one you accepted.
- Languages. You can enter into the contract in Spanish or in English (A20).
- Codes of conduct. edeck.me does not adhere to any code of conduct.
