Terms of service
Version 2026-10-17. In force from 17 October 2026. These terms govern signing up for and using edeck.me, the service for creating, hosting and publishing websites and online shops. You accept them when you choose the plan for a website, and they apply to every website in your account. Each section has a code (C1, C2…) so that it can be quoted.
The essentials
This summary does not replace the terms, but it tells you the most important points:
- You pay per website, per month: Page plan, €4.99/month; Store plan, €9.99/month. VAT included. No minimum term (C5).
- 30 days free the first time you take out the plan for a website. You register your card, but nothing is charged until 30 days have passed; if you cancel before then, you pay nothing (C6).
- The plan renews automatically every month. You cancel whenever you want from Billing, in your panel, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid (C7, C9).
- If a payment fails, your website stays published for 7 days while you update your card. After that it stops being published until the payment goes through, and nothing is deleted (C8).
- After you cancel, we keep your website unpublished for 90 days (if you delete it yourself from Billing, it goes straight to the trash). Then it goes to the trash and, 30 days later, it can be deleted for good. Before that you can download a copy. Even once it is deleted, we keep what your customers may need to claim against you or ask for help: their orders, your seller details (with no deletion deadline) and the messages from your forms (until they are a year old) (C12).
- Your content is yours and you are responsible for it, under the publishing rules. If you sell in your shop, you are the seller (C13, C14).
- If you are a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw, with the "Withdraw from the contract here" button in Billing or by email. During the trial you pay nothing. How to do it, and the form, in C11 and at the end.
C1. Who provides the service and what governs it
edeck.me is a service of ETPRO Group, the trade name under which it is provided by its owner, a natural person working as a self-employed professional:
- Owner: Carlos Gomez
- Tax ID (NIF): 60210417M
- Address: 08024 Barcelona (Barcelona)
- Telephone: 693025096
- Email: soporte@edeck.me
These same details are in the legal notice. In these terms, "edeck.me" or "we" means that owner, and "you" the person who creates the account and takes out the plan.
The service is governed by these documents, which form a single contract:
- these terms of service, for the plan, the price, payments, cancellation and the rest of the relationship;
- the publishing rules, which you accept when you create each website, for what may be published, content review, the measures for breaches and how to appeal against them; their section 11 is also the data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR for your website's data;
- the privacy policy and the cookies policy, for the data of your account and of your use of edeck.me.
If anything in these terms contradicts the publishing rules, the rules prevail on content, and these terms on everything else.
Consumer or business customer. You are a consumer if you sign up for purposes outside your trade, business or profession (for example, a personal blog). You are a business customer if you sign up for your business or profession, including as a self-employed professional, a company or an association with an economic activity. Some rights are only for consumers (the withdrawal in C11 and the guarantees in C16) and some rules only apply to business customers (C19 and C23). Where nothing is said, the section applies to everyone. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives consumers.
C2. What edeck.me is and what it includes
edeck.me gives you a panel to create your website, with the help of artificial intelligence if you want, change it whenever you want and publish it on the internet, with hosting included. Each website is independent and has its own plan:
- Page: the website without a shop: pages, blog, forms, several languages, visit statistics and legal text templates.
- Store: everything in Page, plus the online shop: catalogue, cart, orders, coupons, shipping and charging your customers with the payment gateway you connect (C14).
Both plans include hosting, a secure connection (HTTPS) with its certificate, an address of your own on edeck.me (for example, yourbusiness.edeck.me) and the option to connect your own domain. The domain is not included: you register and renew it yourself with the provider you choose, it remains yours and, to connect it, you create with that provider the records the panel shows you; the security certificate is set up automatically once the domain points to edeck.me. Third-party services you connect on your own (payment gateways, Google Analytics or others) are not included either, and are governed by their own terms.
To protect the service there are usage limits: currently, at most 5 websites per account and 30 artificial intelligence generations per day. They are only reduced as explained in C20. Custom work (bespoke design, migrations, integrations) is not part of the plans: it is quoted separately and governed by what is agreed in each quote.
C3. Your account
- To create an account you must be 18 or over and have legal capacity to enter into contracts. If you create it on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you can bind it.
- The account belongs to one person, who is responsible for it and for all its websites. If you build websites for your clients, you are the one responsible towards edeck.me.
- The details you give us must be true and up to date, especially your email address, which is how we notify you of everything (C21).
- Keep your password and your second sign-in factor safe (two-factor authentication is mandatory in the panel) and do not share them. You are responsible for the use of your account, unless it results from a security failure of edeck.me or happened after you told us about a use you did not authorise; if you suspect one, write to us straight away at soporte@edeck.me.
- To help you, our staff may view your panel in read-only mode, as explained in section 11 of the publishing rules.
C4. How to sign up
- You create your account and confirm your email address.
- You create a website, after reading and accepting the publishing rules.
- In Billing you choose the plan for that website and accept these terms and receiving invoices in electronic format (C5).
- If you sign up without a free trial (for example, when coming back after a cancellation), you also tick a separate box to ask for the service to start as soon as you pay (C11).
- You go to Stripe's payment page, where you enter your card and your billing details. Before confirming you see the plan, the price and, if you have it, the free trial, and you can go back or correct any detail.
- When you confirm, the contract for that website is concluded and the plan appears in your panel, with its status and the date of the next charge.
- Straight away we email you the contract confirmation: the plan, the price, the date of the first charge, until when you can withdraw and the full text of these terms. Keep it.
You can sign up in Spanish or in English. We keep a record of your acceptance (version, date, IP address and browser) and of each version of these terms: the current one is always available on edeck.me, and you can ask us by email for the one you accepted.
C5. Price, taxes and invoices
The price is per website and per month:
- Page: €4.99 per month.
- Store: €9.99 per month.
Prices include VAT: that is what you pay, with nothing added. There is no minimum term, set-up fee or cancellation fee.
The tax is calculated by Stripe according to the country and the tax details you give when paying:
- in Spain, the price includes 21% VAT;
- if you are a company or a professional in another European Union country with a valid VAT number, you are charged the same amount without Spanish VAT, under the reverse charge: you account for the VAT in your country;
- if you are a consumer, or a company without a valid VAT number, in another European Union country, the VAT that applies by law (Spanish VAT or that of your country) is applied, always within the same final price;
- outside the European Union, or in territories where Spanish VAT does not apply, you are charged the same amount without Spanish VAT; if a tax is due in your country, it applies under its law.
Invoices. With every charge we send you the invoice by email, issued through Stripe with the tax details you gave us when paying: your name or company name, your address and, if you want, your tax ID or VAT number. You are responsible for those details being correct. Invoices are also available in Billing → "Manage subscription". If a detail on an invoice is wrong, write to us and we will correct it as the law requires. By signing up you agree to receive invoices in electronic format; if you prefer them on paper, ask us at soporte@edeck.me and we will send them to you at no cost.
Promotion codes. If you have one, you enter it on Stripe's payment page and it applies on the terms of that code (discount, duration). When the discount ends, you pay the plan's normal price.
Price changes are announced as explained in C20.
C6. The 30-day free trial
- The first time you take out the plan for a website you get a 30-day free trial, with everything in the plan.
- To start the trial you give a card in Stripe, but nothing is charged until it ends. Three days before, if you have not cancelled, we email you the date and the amount of the first charge.
- If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. If you do not cancel, the first month is charged after 30 days (the exact date is in Billing and in the confirmation email) and the plan keeps renewing (C7). When the trial ends the contract continues, now paid, with no new withdrawal period.
- There is one trial per website. If you cancel the plan for a website and take it out again later, you pay from day one.
C7. Payment, renewal and change of plan
- Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card goes straight to Stripe: edeck.me neither sees nor stores it.
- The plan renews automatically every month and is charged in advance, on the same date on which the trial ended or on which you signed up (if that day does not exist in a month, on the last day of the month). By signing up you authorise us to make those charges to your card until you cancel.
- You can change your card and billing details whenever you want in Billing → "Manage subscription", which opens Stripe's customer portal.
- Change of plan. From the same portal you can switch from Page to Store or back. Stripe calculates the difference for the days left in the month: if you upgrade, it is charged at that moment; if you downgrade, the amount in your favour is deducted from the following charges. When you switch to Page, the shop stops working on your website, but its products, orders and customers are kept in case you go back to Store.
C8. If a payment fails
- If a month cannot be charged, we email you the same day. Your website stays published for 7 days and Stripe retries the charge on its own.
- We remind you again after 3 and 6 days. The panel tells you until which date it stays published.
- If on day 7 the charge has still not gone through, the website stops being published and we tell you by email. Nothing is deleted: you can still sign in to your panel.
- As soon as you update your card and the payment goes through, the website is published again automatically and we confirm it to you.
While a charge is pending, no other plan can be taken out for that website: it is fixed by updating the card. If in the end the charge cannot be made, the subscription is cancelled when Stripe runs out of retries; from then on the same applies as after a cancellation (C12).
C9. Cancelling
- You can cancel the plan for each website whenever you want, without giving reasons or paying anything for it, in Billing → "Manage subscription" (if a payment is pending, the button is called "Update payment method" and opens the same thing).
- The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid (or at the end of the trial, if you are on it): the next month is not charged and, until that date, your website keeps working normally.
- What happens to the website afterwards is in C12.
C10. Refunds
There are no automatic refunds. As a rule, months already charged are not refunded, not even in part if you cancel in the middle of a month. There are four exceptions:
- the consumer's right of withdrawal (C11);
- what you are entitled to by law, for example if the service does not conform to what was agreed (C16);
- a billing error attributable to edeck.me (a duplicate charge, or an amount that is not your plan's);
- if edeck.me terminates the contract or stops providing the service to you for a reason that is not a breach on your part: we refund the proportionate part of the paid period that is not provided.
In those cases we refund the amount using the same means you paid with, at no cost to you. What happens to payments if the website is suspended for breaching the rules is in section 7 of the publishing rules.
C11. Right of withdrawal (consumers only)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract for a website's plan within 14 calendar days without giving any reason, as provided for in articles 102 to 108 of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users. The period expires 14 calendar days after the day the contract is concluded, which is the day you confirm the sign-up in Stripe (C4). If the last day is a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday, it ends at the end of the next working day. The exact date is in the confirmation email and in Billing.
How to exercise it. You must inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement before the period ends; it is enough to send it within it. You can:
- use the "Withdraw from the contract here" button in Billing, in your panel, during the 14 days: the plan is cancelled at once and you receive the confirmation by email; or
- write to us at soporte@edeck.me, if you want using the model form at the end, which is not obligatory.
Cancelling the plan in "Manage subscription" is not the same: it ends the plan at the end of the period and refunds nothing. During the free trial, however, the result is the same, because nothing has been charged.
We confirm by email, without delay, that we have received your withdrawal, with the content of your statement and the date and time at which we received it. If you cancel in "Manage subscription" within the 14 days, the withdrawal button remains available until the period ends.
What happens to the money:
- During the free trial the 14 days fall within the 30 days of the trial: withdrawing is the same as cancelling and you pay nothing.
- If you signed up without a trial (for example, when coming back after a cancellation), the service starts at once because you expressly ask us to when signing up, by ticking the box in C4. If you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund what you have paid minus the proportionate part of the service provided until you told us you were withdrawing (article 108.3).
We refund the amount within 14 calendar days at most from receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, unless you agree otherwise with us, and at no cost to you. When you withdraw, the plan is cancelled and your website moves to the situation described in C12.
C12. What happens to your website when the plan ends
When the plan for a website ends —because you cancel it, withdraw or the charge cannot be made—:
- The website stops being published, also on your own domain, but its content stays intact. You can still sign in to your panel, change it and download a copy.
- We keep it for 90 days. Billing tells you the exact date, and we email you 30 days and 7 days before that period ends. If you take out a plan again within those 90 days, the website comes back as it was; if it was published when the plan ended, it is published again automatically as soon as the payment goes through.
- After 90 days it goes to the trash and no longer appears in your panel. While it is in the trash, you can ask us by email to restore it.
- Once it has been in the trash for 30 days, it can be deleted for good: its content, files and address cease to exist and can no longer be recovered.
If you delete it yourself. You can delete a website whenever you want from Billing, with the "Delete this site" button, by typing its folder and your password. It stops being published at once and goes straight to the trash (point 3), without the 90 days of point 2. Its plan is not renewed: it is not charged again, and what you have already paid is not refunded; if you are still within the withdrawal period, use "Withdraw from the contract here" instead (C11), which does refund the amount. Download the copy first if you want it: once in the trash it is no longer possible.
Copy of your website. In Billing you have the "Download my site" button: a zip file with the images and files, the content and the orders, products and customers in CSV format, without passwords or payment keys. It also works with the plan cancelled, as long as the website is not in the trash. We recommend downloading it before cancelling.
What is kept. Even if the website is deleted, we do not delete what your customers may need afterwards: to see their purchases, to know who sold to them so they can claim against you or ask for help, and for us to be able to help them or contact them if a problem comes up.
- Your shop's orders, payments, balances, coupons and products: they are your customers' purchase history. They can still see the orders placed with their edeck.me account in it, as orders from a closed shop; we will send them the record of the rest, such as their balance, on request.
- Your seller details: a copy of the ones your website published on its legal pages (legal notice, privacy, terms of sale), only those you had filled in: your name or company name, your tax ID, your address, your email, your phone and your registration details. Nothing else from those pages. People who bought from you with their edeck.me account see them next to their orders from your shop, so they know who sold to them and can claim against you (the guarantee, a return, withdrawal, an invoice) or ask you for help; people who bought without an account get them from us if they ask. While the website is in the trash, they see the ones you have at that moment. The copy is kept with no deletion deadline, because buyers may need it for as long as they keep their orders; if you object, we will delete it unless it is needed for a possible or ongoing claim. We also keep the shop's currency, so that the amounts of the orders are shown correctly.
- The messages people sent you through your website's forms, with their usual period: they are deleted one year after they were sent. They are not shown to anyone: we keep them to help whoever sent them if they ask us for help or for a copy of their message, or to contact them if a problem comes up.
From the deletion onwards, edeck.me is responsible for all of that data, as explained in the privacy policy (section 11), which also explains how to object to us keeping your seller details. We also keep, to meet legal obligations or deal with claims, the history of your subscription and its charges, your acceptances of these terms and of the rules, moderation decisions and the technical log of the use of artificial intelligence and of domains. Deleted data may remain in backups until they expire (currently, at most about 12 months).
Deleting your account. When you no longer have any website (you delete them first, as explained above), you can delete your account from your panel, in Account and security, with the "Delete my account" button and your password. If there is nothing we must keep, it is deleted entirely. If there is (the history of your charges, a website in the trash or already deleted, orders or a balance as a buyer, a moderation decision), the account is closed: your sessions are closed and it can no longer be used to sign in, but its data stays together with what is kept, as explained in the privacy policy (section 8). If you later come back with the same email and reset your password, you get back the same account with its history.
If you want us to delete a website in the trash before its time, write to us at soporte@edeck.me; what we keep for your customers follows its own periods. If you had your own domain connected, the domain is still yours: you can point it to another provider whenever you want.
C13. Your content
- What you publish is yours: texts, images, products and the rest of your website's content, including what you generate with the panel's artificial intelligence.
- To provide the service, you allow us, while your website is on edeck.me and without any payment to you, to host, copy, technically adapt (for example, resize an image) and display that content on the internet, and to keep it in backups until they expire (C12). We do not use it for anything else: for example, we do not use your website as an example in our advertising without your permission.
- You are responsible for your content and for holding the rights to it. What may not be published, how we review it, the measures for breaches and how to appeal against them are in the publishing rules.
- What the artificial intelligence generates is a proposal: review it before publishing. The stock photos the panel suggests come with the licence of their image bank (for example, Pixabay) and are used on its terms.
- The legal text templates (legal notice, privacy, cookies) are a guide, not legal advice, as explained in the legal notice. You are responsible for your website's legal texts and for complying with the rules that apply to your activity.
C14. If you sell with your shop
- In your shop, you are the seller. edeck.me gives you the tool, but it is not a party to the sales or to the services your customers buy, does not act on your behalf and is not responsible for them.
- You decide the products, prices, shipping and terms of sale, and you are responsible towards your customers for the information, delivery, guarantee, returns, withdrawal, their complaints, your taxes and your invoices. Section N9 of the publishing rules sets out what you must tell your customers.
- Your customers' payments go through the gateway you connect with your own account (for example, Stripe or PayPal) or through the means you offer outside the website (bank transfer, cash on delivery). That relationship is yours with that provider, and its fees are its own. edeck.me charges no commission on your sales.
- The account your customers use to sign in to your shop belongs to edeck.me and works in every shop made with edeck.me; you see the orders placed in yours. How it works is explained in section 11 of the publishing rules and in the privacy policy.
C15. Data protection
- edeck.me is the controller of the data of your account and your subscription, and processes it as explained in the privacy policy, which also explains what is sent to the artificial intelligence if you use the "Your website with AI" demo.
- You are the controller of the data of your website's visitors and customers (what they send through your forms, their orders, their balance and the visit statistics), and edeck.me is your processor. The terms of that processing, those required by Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation, are in section 11 of the publishing rules, which you accept when you create the website. If the website is permanently deleted, edeck.me becomes responsible for what is kept for your customers (C12).
C16. Availability, backups and support
- We work so that edeck.me always works and works well, but we do not guarantee any specific availability: there may be maintenance stops, which we try to schedule at quiet times and announce when they are long, and failures of services you contract yourself (your domain provider, your payment gateways) or of internet networks outside our control. For the providers we use to provide you with the service (the data centre, Stripe), we are responsible towards consumers as for our own work.
- We make daily backups, encrypted and stored outside the server, in the European Union, so that the service can be recovered if something fails. They are not a backup service for you and cannot be used to recover a specific change on demand: keep your own copies with "Download my site" (C12) and, on the panel screens that have it, use the change history to go back to an earlier version of a piece of content (it does not cover uploaded files).
- Support: by email, at soporte@edeck.me, and with the help on every screen of the panel. We try to reply within one working day, but this is not a guaranteed time.
- If you are a consumer, edeck.me is responsible for the service conforming to what was agreed for as long as your plan lasts. If it does not, you can ask us to bring it into conformity and, if that is not possible or we do not do it within a reasonable time, a price reduction or the termination of the contract, as provided for in articles 114 and following of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users.
C17. The platform belongs to edeck.me
The edeck.me software, its panel, its templates and designs, its brand and its documentation belong to the owner of edeck.me or to its licensors. While you have a plan, you may use them to build and maintain your websites on edeck.me; that permission is non-exclusive and non-transferable, and it ends with the plan. You may not copy or resell the platform, try to access its code or other accounts' data, or use it in a way that overloads it or circumvents its limits, billing or security.
C18. Suspension and termination by edeck.me
- For content: if a website or an account breaches the publishing rules, we apply the measures in their section 6, and you can appeal as their section 8 explains.
- For non-payment: as explained in C8.
- For security or legal reasons: we may limit or suspend a website or an account when necessary to stop an attack or a risk for other users or the platform, or when an authority or a court orders it. We will tell you the reason, unless the law prevents it.
- For a serious breach of these terms (for example, payment fraud or using the account to attack third parties), we may terminate the contract and close the account, telling you by email the reason and how to appeal (section 8 of the publishing rules).
- If we stop providing the service for everyone, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, we will not charge you for any period we will not provide, and you will have that time to download your websites.
C19. Liability
- edeck.me is liable for the damage it causes by breaching these terms, within what the law allows. It is not liable for your content, for what you sell or for what your customers do, or for third-party services you connect yourself (C16).
- If you are a business customer, edeck.me's total liability for all damage related to the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused it, and does not include loss of profit, loss of business or indirect damage.
- These limitations never apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to damage the law does not allow to be limited.
- If you are a consumer, nothing in this section limits the rights the law gives you; in particular, article 86 of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users.
C20. Changes to the service, prices and these terms
- The service evolves: we add features and change others to improve it, for security or to adapt it to the law. If a change harms you significantly, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and you will be able to cancel at no cost. If you are a consumer, you also have the rights in article 126 bis of the Spanish consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, including the right to terminate the contract at no cost.
- Prices and terms: we only change them for valid reasons (changes in the cost of the service, in taxes or in the law, or new features), and we email you 30 days in advance, saying what changes and from when. If you do not agree, you can cancel at no cost before the change takes effect; if you do not cancel, the new version applies from that date.
- Changes that only fix typos, or that do not harm you, may apply without waiting; those imposed by law, from when the law requires. Each version has its date.
C21. How we communicate
We write to your account's email address, and you will also see some notices in your panel. Keep that address up to date: it is where payment notices and notices of changes to these terms reach you. You can write to us at soporte@edeck.me. Our postal address and telephone number are in C1.
C22. Complaints
- If something is not right, write to us at soporte@edeck.me, or to the postal address or telephone number in C1, telling us what happened. We will reply as soon as possible and, in any case, within one month at most.
- If you are a consumer, you can ask us for the official complaint form, and you can also go to the consumer services of your region or your town council (in Catalonia, the Agència Catalana del Consum).
- edeck.me is not a member of the Spanish Consumer Arbitration System or of any other alternative dispute resolution body. If we do not resolve your complaint, we will tell you which body is competent and whether we agree to take part.
C23. Applicable law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer living in another European Union country, you also keep the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of your country.
- If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence, and edeck.me can only sue you before the courts of your place of residence.
- If you are a business customer, both parties submit to the courts of Barcelona (Spain).
C24. Other clauses
- If a section of these terms is void, it is deemed not to have been written and the rest remains in force. If you are a business customer, the void section is replaced by the valid rule closest to its purpose.
- If we do not enforce something at a given time, that does not mean we waive the right to do so later.
- If the service comes to be provided by another person or entity (for example, a company set up by the owner), we will tell you in advance and, if you do not agree, you will be able to cancel at no cost; provided that this does not reduce your rights or guarantees. You may not transfer your contract without our permission.
- These terms are available in Spanish and in English. If the two versions differ, the Spanish one prevails; if you are a consumer, the one that is more favourable to you applies.
Model withdrawal form
(Only complete and return this form if you are a consumer and wish to withdraw from the contract. Using it is not obligatory: any unequivocal statement is valid, as explained in C11.)
